What Is Fantasy Football?

It’s a game where you draft real NFL players to create your own dream team. Their real-life stats each week earn your team points. You compete against friends or other players each week.

Key Positions:

  • QB – Quarterback

  • RB – Running Back

  • WR – Wide Receiver

  • TE – Tight End

  • K – Kicker

  • DEF – Team Defense

Goal:

Score more points than your opponent each week and make it to the playoffs.

How It Works:

  1. Join a League – Usually 8–12 people.

  2. Draft Players – Pick your team (QB, RBs, WRs, etc.).

  3. Set Lineups Weekly – Choose which players will “start.”

  4. Earn Points – Based on real-life performance (yards, touchdowns, etc.).

  5. Win or Lose – Your team faces another team each week.

  6. Playoffs – Top teams make it to the postseason for a shot at the championship.

Scoring Example:

  • TD pass = 4 points

  • TD run = 6 points

  • 10 rushing yards = 1 point

  • Missed FG = -1 (depends on league settings)
